Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In these data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

General

Using our website is generally possible without providing personal data. To the extent that personal data (including name, address or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is done, where possible, on a voluntary basis. This data is not passed on to third parties without your express consent. Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Web Server Log

For the smooth operation and possible error correction, websites generally have logs on the web server where IP addresses are stored. Like many other companies, we operate our website on the servers of a professional service provider. While IP addresses alone do not constitute personal data, they could theoretically be assigned to individuals using tracking tools. In addition, the time, browser type and visited page are stored. These logs are deleted after one month.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form
including the contact details you provided there will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. However, your accommodation enquiry can only be used and sent to us electronically if you expressly consent to this data protection and data use declaration by clicking on the relevant box. We will not pass on this data without your consent. Please refer to our privacy policy in this regard.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device using your browser. They do no harm. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and only allows this in individual cases. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis services Google Analytics and Matomo. The provider of Google Analytics is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Matomo is operated on the servers of Cookis GmbH, 6460 Imst, Franz Xaver Rennstraße 4 (Bakehouse customers). Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the website usage by your users. The information generated in this way is transmitted to the server of the respective providers and stored there.

You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored. Your IP address is recorded, but is immediately pseudonymised by deleting the last eight bits. This means that only a rough localisation is possible.

The data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.

Our concern in the sense of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. As we value the privacy of our users, the user data is pseudonymised.

Google Maps - Privacy policy for use

This website uses the Google Maps product from Google Analytics. It is represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of the automatically collected data by Google Inc, its representatives and third parties. The terms of use of Google Maps can be found under "Terms of use of Google Maps": https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Use of Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts on our website. This allows us to integrate certain fonts into our website. These fonts are provided by Google via servers in the USA. When you visit our website, your web browser establishes a direct connection to these servers. Among other things, your IP address is transmitted to Google and stored there. Google is a participant in the EU-US Privacy Shield: www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework

SSL encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the requests you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser address line changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Data storage

We would like to point out that, for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for subsequent contract processing, the webshop operator stores the IP data of the connection owner as well as the name, address and credit card number of the buyer in the form of cookies.

The data you provide is required for contract performance or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. The data will not be passed on to third parties, except for the transmission of credit card data to the processing banks/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company/shipper commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods and to our tax advisor for the fulfilment of our tax obligations.

After the purchasing process has been cancelled, the data stored with us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the end of the statutory retention period (7 years).

The data name, address, purchased goods and purchase date will also be stored until the end of the product liability period (10 years). The data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (consent) and/or lit. b (necessary for contract performance) of the GDPR.

Facebook Plugins (Like Button) - Privacy policy for use

Our pages integrate plugins from the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The Facebook plugins can be recognised by the Facebook logo or the "Like Button" ("I like") on our page. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins here:

http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. When you visit our pages, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Facebook server via the plugin. Facebook is thereby informed that you have visited our page with your IP address. If you click on the Facebook "Like Button" while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Further information on this can be found in Facebook's privacy policy at https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php.

If you do not wish Facebook to be able to assign the visit to our pages to your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.

Instagram - Privacy policy for use

Our pages integrate functions of the Instagram service. These functions are offered by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA. If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the content of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking on the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Instagram.

Further information on this can be found in Instagram's privacy policy:
https://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.

YouTube - Privacy policy for use

Our website uses plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.

If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Further information on how user data is handled can be found in YouTube's privacy policy at
https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

Your rights

You generally have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
