Authentic, high-alpine glacier summer

Take the Kaunertal Glacier Panorama Road high up: 29 bends, 26 kilometres – past every vegetation level of the Alps. Along the route, there are viewpoints, hiking starting points, huts, climbing rocks and the via ferrata in the Fernergries. From here, high-altitude tours lead to the Rauhekopf Hütte, to the glacier tongue and up to the Weißseespitze – at 3,518 metres the queen of the Kaunertal summits. And further still.

Ski passes & toll roads
Ski passes are available online or directly at the ticket offices of the glacier railways. They are also valid at Winterberg Fendels. Also included is the glacier panoramic road.

Free ski bus
Ski buses towards the glacier and to Fendels depart directly opposite Alpin Camping. Free with a valid lift pass.

Car-free holiday
 Car-free holiday, if that's what you want. You can easily reach the glacier and many other excursion destinations by bus, bike or on foot.

100% barrier-free skiing
